Hello St. Louis Summer Vacation Part 1: The Zoo, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, & Clementine’s Ice Cream

Summer has begun!! To kick it off, I took a short summer vacation to St. Louis and visited the St. Louis zoo, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery!

The St. Louis zoo has changed a lot since I last went, and per usual, I enjoyed seeing all of the critters!

The capybara was so cute lounging in a ray of sunshine! And look at this little penguin, too adorable! He swam right up and posed for a picture!

I also thoroughly enjoyed some ice cream treats from Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery! I tried the pink champagne sorbet and lemon poppy seed flavors, and they were delicious. I have great ice cream options around my area, but I do wish there was a Clementine’s in my town!

The pink champagne sorbet was sweet without being overwhelming. The flavor was subtle and light, like the sorbet itself. The lemon poppy seed had a hint of tartness without being completely sour, perfect for a summer day! These flavors were both vegan as well.

I also visited the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis. Though I’m not interested in drinking beer, I wanted to take a tour and see where the infamous Budweiser and Bud Light originated.

The buildings had gorgeous architecture, which I was slightly surprised by. Antique chandeliers, beautiful staircases, and lovely brick buildings surrounded me during the tour. To get a better look at the brewery, you can head over to my Instagram at tarynstales and watch the reel!

That’s a wrap for part 1!
